    The study design Altakuota Progettazione di Maltinti  & Galletti architetti  was founded in 1988 following a two-handed design of the folding chair "Sola" produced by the factory based in Friuli Sintesi 2 and reported to the "Young & Design '89" competition event. Since then, joining forces with different experiences, jobs have ranged between building (private, public and industrial), renovation, furnishing and design. The various collaborations in design include: Nito, Lave bath, Benedetti, Sergio Martini argenti, Etrusca bagni, Marmores, Campostrini & Trallori, Ellebi, Heras edition, Ceramiche Delta, Vitruvit ceramiche, Donati, fratelli Volpi srl, Bagno piĆ¹, DBM spa, CDC computer discounter. From 2006 to 2009 they are the protagonists of the project "Sofie" by the National Research Council (CNR - Institute Ivalsa of Trento) in order to perfect the system X-Lam used for the construction of wooden buildings with several floors. For this project, the study elaborates and industrializes  some components, subsequently patented internationally, and in 2010 they won the competition for the construction of a multi-storey residential building in advanced structure X-Lam.
